ManTech International wins $23M BRAC job at Ft. Meade

ManTech International Corp. has won a contract for security efforts at new facilities being opened at Fort George G. Meade linked to the Base Closure and Realignment Commission (BRAC) process.
Fairfax, Va.-based ManTech said that the contract has an initial one-year base period and four one-year renewal options. It is worth $23 million.
Mantech (NASDAQ: MANT) ManTech will support security operations at new Defense Information Systems Agency facilities being built at Fort Meade in Anne Arundel County with a full range of security services. DISA is moving from Arlington, Va., as a result of BRAC.
"ManTech has extensive experience in providing industry-leading security support services to our federal customers, and we are fully committed to supporting DISA in its transition to Fort Meade," ManTech group president William Varner said in a statement.
